# Monitor changes to any list of websites PromptLoop signals is the latest evolution of our web research tools. Signals allows you to turn on autopilot for researching and monitoring websites from customers, leads, or target entity sites to watch for changes in any search. You can set up a PromptLoop task to look for datapoints across websites then get automated alerts for new companies that match the results that you are looking for. ## How it works To start, you will need to be familiar with and have set up a task. For help on getting started look at the [tasks](custom-tasks) page and the [datasets](autoloop) page. Once you have a task set up in your account, you can now leverage signals and recurring jobs. <Callout title="Activating Signals"> If your account and package was not previous set up with Signals, you may need to contact the team to get this added to your platform </Callout> You can launch Signals monitoring when you launch a new task on a dataset from the datasets page. Signals allows you to take any task, and any set of datapoints, and add a filter for the results that you care about or are looking for. Here are a few example filters relevant to different industries. <Image alt={'Launch AI Signals'} src={'https://img.promptloop.com/signals-launch.jpg'} width={800} height={420} /> You can select a filter for each datapoint the task is returning. Filters include **contains**, **equals**, **not equals**, etc. You can also select the cadence that you want jobs to launch. This can be 7 days, 30 days, every hour - or any other cadence depending on the task. Note that signals operate on the same credit expenditure as normal tasks so high frequency runs will incur higher credit usage. See [usage](/account/settings/usage) for more info. Here are a few examples for finding **NEW** results: - *Find businesses who mention Solar Panel Installation* - *Where hiring is true* - *Where career page includes Sales Role* - *Where pricing page mentions SAML* ## Results Signals allows you to put change monitoring on autopilot and be the first to know of any change across an entire dataset. We deliver this to you by email with an automated executive summary as well as allow you to view the full dataset and filtered results set inside your PromptLoop account. <Image alt={'Signals Email'} src={'https://img.promptloop.com/signals-email.jpg'} width={800} height={420} /> You can also view results on the [datasets page](autoloop) and see each result filter for each period you ran. <Image alt={'Signals Email'} src={'https://img.promptloop.com/signals-data.jpg'} width={800} height={420} /> ## Get started today Want to explore and try this today but don't have an account yet?
